King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard‘s newest album, Flight b741, is a love letter to basic nation rock.
The band tried one thing totally different, with everybody taking activate vocals and constructing off one another’s lyrics. Frontman Stu Mackenzie says the method was extra instinctual.
“There have been information the place somebody has introduced in an concept and mentioned ‘Will the bass participant please play this?’ or ‘With the drums, I used to be pondering this sort of beat?’ However this wasn’t like that.
